Marjorie Feld received her Ph.D. in History at Brandeis University in 2001 and has been at Babson since Fall 2001. Her teaching and research interests include U.S. social, labor, and women’s/gender history. Her articles have appeared in the Journal of the Gilded Age and Progressive Era, the British Women’s History Magazine, and the Jewish Studies journal Shofar. She is a member of the Jewish Women’s Archive Academic Advisory Council and the Academic Council of the American Jewish Historical Society. Her book, Lillian Wald: A Biography, published in 2008 by University of North Carolina Press, won the Saul Viener Book Prize of the American Jewish Historical Society, an award presented biannually to an “outstanding book in American Jewish History.” She enjoys working with Babson’s Center for Women’s Leadership, and received a Nan Langowitz Women Who Make a Difference award in 2009.
