Dr. Vlock teaches literature, foundation, and rhetoric courses at Babson. The author of Dickens, Novel Reading, and the Victorian Popular Theatre (Cambridge UP) and numerous articles on nineteenth-century English literature and culture, her interests are interdisciplinary and historical. Areas of special interest include music and literature, Victorian theatre, Victorian science and politics, and Victorian business.
