Dr. Harris has been the Director of the Undergraduate Management Core Program at Babson College since 2000. Prior to this current position, he was lecturer and visiting assistant professor in economics at Babson from 1983-1999 and an assistant professor of economics at Bentley College from 1979-1982. His major teaching interests include microeconomics, urban economics, public finance, macroeconomics, environmental economics, and economics of the European Union. His primary research interests include inter-regional factor migration, regional economic growth modeling, public sector productivity, regional economic impact analysis, European Union enlargement, and integrated curriculum development. A current research project is entitled, "European Union Enlargement: The View from Russia."
In the spring of 2000, Dr. Harris presented "Business Simulation Models in Integrated Curricula" to the American Academy of Marketing Science. Dr. Harris was President and CEO of Future Business Systems Corp. from 1983-1996.
