Dr. Kimball has taught finance at Babson College since 1987. Specifically, he teaches in the areas of fixed income, risk management, and financial institutions. He also holds the post of Economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Prior to joining Babson, he was Senior Associate at the MAC Group, Inc., and Assistant Vice President and Economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Dr. Kimball's research interests lie in the area of strategic management of financial institutions. Professor Kimball is also interested in application of financial mathodologies to marketing, especially in such areas as brand and customer valuation, allocation of marketing resources across products and customer segments, and measuring return on marketing expenditures. Dr. Kimball is author of Commercial Bank Demand and Municipal Bond Yields and coauthor of The Effects of Banking Deregulation.
