Professor Stephenson has been at Babson since 1997.  He has industry experience in the CFO organizations of Phillips Petroleum Company, Texas Instruments, and Dell Computer Corporation.  He is a member of the Financial Management Association and the Institute of Management Accountants, and he is a Certified Management Accountant.

Professor Stephenson was the recipient of an honorary degree from Babson College's graduating class of 2004, awarded to the undergraduate professor of the year, and he is also a member of the Honors Council.
