William Stitt is a Senior Lecturer in the Management and Technology, Operations and Information Management Divisions at Babson College. Prior to joining Babson, he was a Clinical Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Lally School of Management and Technology, and formerly the Director of its Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship.

Prior to joining Rensselaer, Mr. Stitt was President and Chief Operating Officer, and a Director of ICF International. He was a member of the venture team that created and built this former NYSE-listed company. The economics consulting, engineering, and construction businesses focused on environment, energy, health, information technology, and heavy industry. Earlier, he served on the U.S. Department of Defense and the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, the latter as part of the team that created the Environmental Protection Agency.
