Dr. Gordon's research and consulting interests currently focus on three areas:  IT support for corporate innovation, IT governance, and E-commerce in the financial service industry.  He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Information Technology Cases and Applications Research.  He is co-author of the textbooks Information Systems: A Management Approach (Wiley, 3rd ed.) and Essentials of Accounting Information Systems (U. of Phoenix).  He has been published widely in the academic press and is the editor of two research anthologies.  Before coming to Babson, Dr. Gordon consulted to the airline industry at Simat, Helliesen & Eichner, Inc. He also founded and served as president of Beta Principles, Inc., a developer and marketer of accounting software and reseller of computer hardware.
