Matthew S. Kressy is principal of Designturn Inc., a product design firm in Wellesley, Massachusetts, Senior Lecturer at MIT Engineering Systems Division and Adjunct Faculty of Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design.  He specializes in complete product solutions, including volume production in Asia, through early integration of all related product development disciplines including manufacturing.

            Prior to establishing Designturn, Kressy co-founded and managed industrial design and marketing communications for SNI Innovation, a product development and manufacturing group in Waltham, Massachusetts.

            His courses focus on industrial design and its role in interdisciplinary product development and have included collaborations with Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan School of Business.  He has lectured on industrial design, integrated product development and integrated product development education, to universities and professional organizations.

            He holds a BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
