Nestor Azcona received his B.A. in economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain) and has received his Ph.D. from New York University in September 2008. He also spent one year as a visiting student at the University of Toulouse I (France). While he was a graduate student at NYU he worked as a research assistant at the Latin American Economics Research Group at Morgan Stanley and as a summer intern at the International Monetary Fund. He has taught Intermediate Macroeconomics, Money and Banking, and Principles of Macroeconomics at NYU. His research interests are in International Finance and Monetary Policy.
