Dr. Bayer has been a professor of economics at Babson College since 1978. He served as Dean of Undergraduate Program from 1978 to 1987, and Associate Dean, School of Management from 1983 to 1987. He has also taught at the University of Vermont and at Memphis State University. Dr. Bayer's professional business experience includes a Budget Analyst position at Colgate-Palmolive and Production Manager of the Byer Manufacturing Company in Orono, Maine. In addition, he conducted fiscal consulting studies for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and states of Tennessee and Vermont. Areas of expertise include economics and state and local taxation.
