Bradley George joined the Entrepreneurship Division in September as an Assistant Professor and currently teaches courses in Entrepreneurship and New Ventures.  Professor George will complete his Ph.D. in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship from Indiana University in fall 2007. He has a B.S and Masters of Mechanical Engineering from University of Louisville, and an MBA from University of Northern Iowa. His dissertation is entitled Strategic Decision-Making in New Ventures: The Relationship between Decision Comprehensiveness and Growth in Differing Environments.   He has presented research at the Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference and the Academy of Management Conference.  His areas of interest include strategic decision making, the role of governance structure in corporate innovation, and research methodology. 

Professor George has taught courses in strategic management and leadership, organizational theory and change, business statistics and calculus at the University of Louisville, University of Northern Iowa, and Indiana University.  Prior to his doctoral studies, Professor George  spent 15 years in the diesel engine industry in a variety of positions in training, technical sales and service support, design, manufacturing, marketing, strategic planning and business process reengineering.  He worked most recently as Marketing/Product Manager of advanced engine programs at John Deere and served on the Board of Directors of the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony Orchestra.  Professor George also has extensive international experience, having worked in approximately 30 countries around the world.
