Ms. Walske is researching emergent venture firms, and how venture syndication patterns affect portfolio firm success. She has published her work on venture capital with Professor Zacharakis, and has presented her research at numerous conferences including: the Babson College Research Conference, Academy of Management, and the Eastern Academy of Management. Ms. Walske has also created and taught her own course in high technology entrepreneurship for the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Prior to her career in academia, Ms. Walske founded a venture capital firm, Myriad Investments LLC. She was also nationally ranked software analyst by Institutional All American, and a regular guest commentator on CNN and CNBC. Ms. Walske held various marketing and sales positions within the design automation and telecommunications industries from 1987 through 1999, including serving on the EDAC industry board of directors.
