Kathleen McKone teaches operations management and supply chain management courses to both undergraduate and graduate students at Babson. She has also taught at the University of Minnesota M.B.A. and executive education programs. Prior to completing her graduate work in business, she worked for Pitney Bowes and Procter and Gamble. 

Her current research is on supply chain management and considers how an integrated approach to information technology and supply chain development leads to better performance outcomes. She also examines innovative supply chain structures and how they can engage suppliers and customers in the operations processes.  Her research has involved work with Solectron, Equal Exchange and Rosemount.
