Ms. Abramoff has 15 years of experience as an instructor of Japanese, having taught at Assumption College, Northeastern University, and Brandeis University prior to Babson. She received an appreciation award from the Japanese class of 1991 at Babson, and the Outstanding Teacher Award from Assumption College in 1988. Ms. Abramoff is also a member of ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) and was recognized as a contributor and OPI (Oral Proficiency Interview) tester at the Council's meeting in November 1996. Recent publications include "Speak and Learn Japanese," an audio program for self-instruction by Pimsleur International.
