Study in the epicenter of tech entrepreneurship.​

Each spring semester, we offer undergraduate students the opportunity to study at ​Babson’s San Francisco campus, located in the city’s thriving SoMa district. The experience exposes you to the diverse Bay Area business community, ranging from esta​blished organizations to the startup scene of Silicon Valley. Students participate in alumni networking events, company treks, consulting projects, and neighborhood tours while earning 18 credits.

Where You’ll Live

Students live in designated Babson hou​​​sing in downtown San Francisco by Union Square, which is approximately a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride from campus. Housing includes primarily double-occupancy rooms, and students who require medical housing accommodations must register with the Office of Disability Services.

Intel

Company Treks

Prestigious Fortune 100 company or rapidly growing startup, online clothing retailer or mobile payment provider, you’ll travel all around the Bay Area to explore and learn from organizations making a big​ ​impact around the world. Previous company treks included visits to Inflection, 500 Startups, Taylor Stitch, Google, Squ​are, Woodside Capital Partners, Virool, Optimizely, Intel, and Pandora​.

Networking Events

Whether it’s with Bay Area alumni, current MBA students, or others in San Francisco’s entrepreneurial community, you’ll have chances to make connections throughout the semester. Past events have included Babson Connect, attending San Francisco Giants’ baseball games, a design thinking panel, a “Disrupting the Status Quo” event hosted by the Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership, and “A Conversation about Entrepreneurship and Sustainability” by Silicon Vikings.​​

​Cultural Excursions

In San Francisco, there’s so much to see, eat, and do. Previous field trips and fun outings have included trips to Haight-Ashbury, the Haas School of Business, the Castro, Muir Woods, and the Japanese Tea Garden; a night tour of Alcatraz; attending the Beach Blanket Babylon musical revue; and eclectic mini-golf at Urban Putt.
