Academic Programs

Blaze your own trail at Babson and become a globally responsible leader through our innovative academic courses and programs.

Today’s world needs passionate, skilled, and motivated leaders. Our students go on to lead global enterprises, launch startups, and drive the inspiration within organizations to develop new products, processes, and markets.

In the classroom, students participate in challenging academic programs that expand their knowledge and critical thinking, while developing their leadership skills. Creative, passionate ideas coupled by a supportive, approachable community allow our students to take intellectual risks throughout the entire academic experience.

Leadership Training

Babson faculty, leaders in their own industries and fields, have established unique academic programs to help students strengthen their leadership and teamwork skills. Involving alumni, local entrepreneurs, and major companies, these programs connect students with professionals in a challenging environment. Programs include the Coaching for Leadership & Teamwork Program (CLTP) and Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE).

Liberal Arts

Babson prides itself on the depth and breadth of its curriculum, as students are challenged by the dual business and liberal arts structure of the academic program. Faculty divisions within the liberal arts area include Arts & Humanities, History & Society, Economics, Law, and Math & Science. Faculty offer courses in all academic levels, providing students with immense room for development and growth in transferrable skills. These professors are leaders in their fields of research and contribute to the richness of both academic and student life through special programs and events.

Leading by Example in the Classroom and On Campus

Leadership positions held by diverse, confident Babson students are essential to the life of the campus. Students are charged after their first-year to inspire their peers by leading in the classroom and on campus through a multitude of leadership activities. Students apply for paid and nonpaid leadership positions through a highly selective application process. Furthermore, students can join the leadership team of a club or organization or be the founding president of a new organization. Create your own experience, blaze your own trail, and discover a lifetime of memories.
