Director

Rob Major is an associate dean and the director of the Office of Academic Services. He oversees the office’s operations, which includes personal and academic support for undergraduates and management of curriculum support for Babson’s innovative, integrated curriculum.

He earned his BS from the University of Rhode Island and his master’s degree in higher education administration from Suffolk University.

Heather Miller, Assistant Class Dean (Last Names A-B)

Heather MillerHeather Miller is the class dean for students whose last names begin with A or B. She provides academic and personal support to these students, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, study abroad, variances, off-campus course work, and exam excuses.

​She earned her BA from Drew University, her Master of Education degree in college student affairs administration from the University of Georgia, and her master’s in public administration from Bridgewater State University.

Stephanie Kuchova, Assistant Class Dean (Last Names C-D)

Stephanie Kuchova Stephanie Kuchova is the class dean for students whose last names begin with C or D. She provides academic and personal support to these students, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, study abroad, variances, off-campus course work, and exam excuses.

​She earned her BSBA from Western New England University and her Master of Science degree in student affairs and higher education from the Miami University.

Kristen Fischer

Kristen Fischer is the class dean for students whose last names begin with J, K, or L. She provides academic and personal support to these students, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, study abroad, variances, off-campus course work, and exam excuses. Additionally, she coordinates academic policy updates and certification of graduates and oversees one of the assistant class deans.

She earned her BA from Hamilton College and her master’s degree in higher education and student affairs from The Ohio State University.

He also coordinates the Weissman Scholars program.

He earned his BA from the College of the Holy Cross, his master’s degree in education from Boston College, and his Master of Business Administration from Babson College.

She earned her BA with a certificate in professional writing and technical communication from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, her master’s degree in higher education administration from North Carolina State University, and a graduate certificate in the program Leadership for Change: Sustainability, Responsibility, and Community at Boston College.

Dan Kwash is the class dean for students whose last names begin with U, V, W, X, Y, or Z. He also oversees the class deans. He provides academic and personal support to his cohort of students, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, education abroad, variances, off-campus course work, and exam excuses. ​

He earned his BA from Bridgewater State University and his master’s degree in education with a concentration in higher education, also from Bridgewater State University.

Michele Brown Kerrigan

Assistant Director, Curriculum Support

Michele Brown Kerrigan is the assistant director of curriculum and program support in the Office of Academic Services. She works closely with the faculty in supporting the undergraduate curriculum. This includes the Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship Program, the Sophomore Management Experience, and the Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program.

She earned her BA from Boston College and her master’s degree in student development administration from Seattle University, and she is currently completing her PhD in higher education at Boston College.

 
Sarah Larson

Sarah Larson

Program Coordinator

Sarah Larson is a program coordinator for curriculum support in the Office of Academic Services. She is part of the curriculum and program support team that works with faculty who provide support for FME (Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship) and the integrated Sophomore Management Experience (SME) curriculum in areas including Blackboard, simulations, course projects, academic programs, exams, and enrollment management. She also manages the FME mentors who staff the Innovation Center.

She earned her BA from Wellesley College.

 
Kevin O’Leary

Kevin O’Leary

Program Coordinator

Kevin O’Leary is a program coordinator for curriculum support in the Office of Academic Services. He is part of the curriculum and program support team that works with faculty who provide support for FME (Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship) and the integrated Sophomore Management Experience (SME) curriculum in areas including Blackboard, simulations, course projects, academic programs, exams, and enrollment management. He also manages common exam proctors.

He earned his BA and his master’s degree in education from Merrimack College.

Jackie Harris

Jackie Harris

Coordinator, Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program

Jackie Harris is the coordinator for the Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program of the Office of Academic Services. She organizes all aspects of the program, including coordination of volunteer recruitment, management of volunteer training, event-day management, and many other tasks that lead to the program’s success.

Senior Program Manager, Academic Services

Conor O’Brien is the senior program manager in Academic Services. He leads programming efforts for the office, including the First-Year/Senior Retreat, the Senior Transition Fair, the December Graduate Lunch, FME Dodgeball, and more. He also oversees the Peer Mentor program, and assists in the planning and implementation of New Student Orientation, Family Orientation, and First-Year Seminar.

He earned his BA from Quinnipiac University and his master’s degree in higher education and student affairs from the University of South Carolina.

Assistant Director, Honors and Presidential Scholars Programs

Monique Rose M’07 is the assistant director of the Honors and Presidential Scholars programs. She coordinates all aspects of the Honors Program, including working with faculty on administration and recruitment and providing academic and personal support to the students. She also manages the Presidential Scholars Program.

She earned her BS from Yale University and her Master of Business Administration from Babson College.

Mary Beth Crane is the part-time administrative assistant in the Office of Academic Services. She handles overall office support functions and event planning as a part of her day-to-day duties.

Colleen Maroney

Graduate Assistant

Colleen Maroney is a graduate assistant in the Office of Academic Services, where she supports the class deans with the First Generation Program, Weissman Scholar programming, OAS Newsletter, degree audits, overflow advising, and general support.

She earned her BA from the University of Connecticut and is pursuing her master’s degree in higher education in student affairs at Salem State University. She will graduate in 2017.​​
