Cruickshank Alumni Leadership Award (1988)

Established as the Volunteer of the Year Award in 1988, this award recognizes outstanding volunteer efforts of members of the Babson alumni community. The distinguished recipients have demonstrated a significant long-term commitment to Babson, and each represents the highest ideals of service and loyalty to the College. The award was named the Cruickshank Alumni Leadership Award in 1994 to honor the exceptional volunteer service of William H. Cruickshank, Jr. (BSBA 1949, H 1999).

Richard J. Snyder Distinguished Service to the College Award (1988)

This award began life as the Silver Beaver Award in 1988. Until 2008 it was the Distinguished Service to the College Award. Richard J. Snyder, Esq. is a Babson Alum (BSBA 1960), Honorary Degree recipient (Doctor of Laws 1994) and Babson Parent (twice 1993 and 2001.) Presented to Babson graduates, friends, and family in recognition of outstanding volunteer contributions. They shall have demonstrated exceptional outreach efforts or participation which contribute to the advancement of the college community.
