Innovation 2.0 Summit

The Babson Innovation 2.0 Summit is an invitation only event that brings together some of the world's brightest minds on innovation.  You will hear from and share ideas with companies such as Bank of America, Apple, Turner Broadcasting, Partners HealthCare, NASA, Herman Miller, Air Products and others.

In these two days (three days for members) you will hear insights and get first hand in-the-trenches advice on innovation from leading innovators.  This is not a feel-good innovation event, it's the nuts and bolts of innovation, the sort of practical and hard-hitting success stories that executives need to lead innovation initiatives that will differentiate their organizations.  To request an invitation please contact the Center for Business Innovation, Executive Director, Thomas Koulopoulos at tkoulopoulos@babson.edu.

Here's just some of what you'll experience:

  • DRUCKER ON INNOVATION: The legendary Peter Drucker, presented by USA Today's Bruce Rosenstein, one of the last people to interview Peter Drucker.  Bruce will share a never released video of his interview with Peter and share Drucker's wisdom with the passion for innovation and leadership.
  • INNOVATING MEDIA: Listen to a front-lines talk about the relentless and unforgiving climate of market driven innovation that media is constantly subjected to by a Turner Broadcasting, VP.
  • INNOVATION IN PRACTICE:  Extensive case studies on innovation in practice that have been developed to help you share lessons learned in a clear and articulate manner - NOT just PowerPoint presentations!
  • THE BUSINESS INNOVATION FACTORY:  A community of innovators collaborating to explore business model innovation through a series of experiences designed to get ideas off the white board and onto the ground quickly and cost effectively.
  • INTERACTIVE SESSIONS: Round Table discussion and open forums designed to give you the chance to interact not just sit back and listen.
  • INNOVATION GETS PERSONAL:  A first-hand look at new research and industry insight on innovation from the Center for Business Innovation's, Executive Director, Thomas Koulopoulos.  Learn how and why innovation is changing the dynamics of your industry.
  • A UNIQUE RESPONSE TO TODAY'S INNOVATION CHALLENGES:  A first-hand look at one of the most innovative higher education initiatives in the world to help corporations tackle innovation, the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering.  Olin has created a model that even the world's leading engineering schools can't touch.
  • Additional sessions will include An Innovation Methods Workshop; presentations and discussions on Benchmarking Innovation and Inspiring a New Generation of Inventors; Susan Foley will discuss her newly released book Entrepreneurs Inside; and much more!!

All this and networking that can't be found in any other venue.
