Thursdays, 4:45 – 8:30 PM
Every Thursday, Babson volunteers serve about 100 meals to those in need and help clean up afterwards.
2.Barton Road Program, Wellesley Housing Authority, Wellesley, MA
Monday and Wednesdays, 3 – 6 PM
A comprehensive after school activities program that includes reading, games and crafts.
3. Needham Housing Authority, Needham, MA.
Monday- Wednesday 3:30-6PM
A mirror of the program above for children who live in the Needham Housing Authority.
4. Fiske Elementary School, Wellesley, MA
Tuesdays, 12:15 – 3:15 PM
Positions available 1
Transport and accompanied 4 low income students and their teacher on field trips to various locations, such an apple orchards and a pumpkin farm, helping to expose them to local attractions and reinforce literacy lessons.
5. Friday's with Friends/ Saturday's in Service
Friday's and Saturday's between 9 AM and 5 PM, varies depending on the service
Volunteers participated in community service events sponsored by the Bernon Center for Public Service. Including community partners such as Friends of the Homeless of the South Shore, Community Servings, Volunteers of America and the Natick Community Organic Farm Carrying on efforts from past years.
