The Europe Institute
hosted The New
Entrepreneur
Scholarship (NETS)
Program on October
1-14, 2005. The
program was develop
to provide selected
scholars the
opportunity to travel
to America and
experience business
training at a leading
American Business School and meet American entrepreneurs in related fields. This year we hosted twenty scholars. Faculty Director Michael Gordon designed and led the program. The NETS program was endorsed by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Gordon Brown, who wants the scholars to “share best practice in enterprise education”.
This year’s group was very excited to spend two weeks at Babson in a program specifically designed to enhance and support their business. The feedback we received from the NETS participants was heartening. Here’s just a few of their comments:
“I’m already planning what I want to do when I get back home. The program has made me think about my business differently and how I can grow it. I’m thinking bigger and better, exploring new avenues and looking at new business ventures”.
“I wasn’t sure what to expect from this program when I first arrived but it’s exceeded anything I could have imagined! I’ve been challenged, stimulated, inspired and motivated, I couldn’t have asked for more”!
