This Fall Glavin Center and Global Program Services welcomed 23 new graduate and undergraduate exchange students to Babson College campus for the fall semester. The 14 undergraduate students and 9 graduate students came to Babson representing 13 different universities and 10 countries. Babson is especially pleased to strengthen its international strategic partnerships with Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain, and Vienna University of Business and Economics in Vienna, Austria by receiving students from these institutions. All three of these schools are members of the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS) which is an alliance of business and higher education and currently comprises 17 of Europe’s finest academic institutions, four non-European Academic institutions, and over 50 of the world’s leading multinational companies. In addition, several Babson went abroad on exchange at strategic partner schools during the 2005-06 academic year, including one graduate student at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, and CEMS school. All of the exchange students have been paired with Babson students in a new initiative, the Glavin International Mentoring Program..
