In an effort to increase our understanding of international student needs and the level of perceived internationalization here at Babson College, International Student & Scholar Services recently conducted an internet survey and several focus groups. With the assistance of Graduate Assistant, Anand Kantaria, the internet survey was sent out on October 29, 2004 to all international students. The survey had approximately a 50% response rate! As a follow up to the survey three focus groups were conducted, one for graduate students, one for undergraduate students and the final one for exchange students.

Together, the survey and focus groups provided valuable information on students’ needs, perceptions and suggestions related to their Babson/U.S. experience. Results are currently being compiled and will serve as an indicator of areas where programs and services can be increased or modified to better meet student needs.
