On January 4, 2005 Stacia Zukroff, Manager of Study Abroad and Exchange Programs, reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa and the tallest free-standing non-technical climb in the world (19,341 feet/5,895 meters). She traveled to Tanzania with 14 people on an Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) major excursion as a volunteer leader.
