Business education in Europe has emerged as an important industry during the last decade. Institutions offering degree programs in Europe are seeking partnerships with institutions abroad who deliver executive-level education.

Facilitates Academic Programs
In the recently signed Bologna protocol, the European universities commit to a major restructuring of their systems. The agreement aims at unification of degrees and will move closer to the Anglo-American system. This major reorganization will facilitate more joint programs in the future. For example, Babson College and the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland have entered into and alliance to develop a student and faculty exchange program and to collaborate on research projects and executive education programs.
