Asia is the world's largest and most populous continent. It covers almost 30% of the Earth's total land area and contains more than 60% of the world's current human population. With this size, and long history, comes high diversity. Asia is widely assumed to present limitless entrepreneurial opportunities, but the viability and nature of these opportunities are not all the same across the various countries that make up Asia. While many aspects of entrepreneurship can be generalized across ventures started anywhere in the world, we cannot assume the same opportunities can be approached similarly in different Asian contexts.
