Proposed itinerary (subject to change)

This course will introduce students to opportunities and risks of doing business in India.  We will explore IT services and manufacturing.  Indian firms have recently become the world’s leading providers of outsourced services and software. India is the fastest growing market for telecom equipment and a significant player in global supply chains for the pharmaceuticals, automotive, and other industries. Goldman Sachs predicts that by 2020 India will be one of the world’s largest economies.

During this two week course you will visit vibrant business centers on the sub-continent and meet people from a variety of sectors, including business process outsourcing, software development, and manufacturing.  You will also meet Babson alumni and students from Indian business schools. By interacting with people and cultural visits you should gain an appreciation for India’s long heritage of culture.
