Eligibility: Open to Sophomore, Junior, or Senior students. Minimum GPA of 2.50 is required at time of application. Applicant must remain in good academic and social standing prior to participation in course.
Program Fee: The total cost of this program is $2,000* plus 4 credits of Babson College Winter Session tuition (please note that airfare is NOT INCLUDED.)

Description: The course aims to develop an appreciation for the theatre not only as an art form, but as a highly disciplined community of people who aspire to push the boundaries of perception in society and the world at large. The course involves a combination of close readings of play texts and historical and theoretical materials with careful and critical analyses of 10 to 12 live performances. These performances range from large West End productions to small, out-of-the-way fringe theatres. Students also tour sites of theatrical and historical interest and attend performance workshops with professional companies such as the Globe Theatre players and the Cardboard Citizens players.
Transportation: The program travel dates are December 27, 2009 - January 12, 2010. An international group flight itinerary will be arranged by the program, and details on the flight will be provided to enrolled students through the OIP Program Manager.
