Honors International Programs offer students oversees study opportunities designed to be academically challenging and intensive. The Honors International Program in London (description below) is offered each summer. Additional Off Shore Courses are also offered and vary each year. Previously run Off Shore Honors Courses have included programs in Mexico, Chile, Belgium and Italy.
2008/2009 HONORS INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM OFFERINGS
Milan: Competitiveness Challenges of the New Europe (March)
This course will take an in-depth look at the EU and its institutions and the competitive challenges of the New Europe. This program runs during the March break and is managed by the Office of International Programs (781-239-4536).
London: Intensive Study and Internship (Summer)
The Honors International Program in London offers students the opportunity to combine academic study at the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with practical business volunteer experience in Europe. The program runs from June to mid August and is managed by the Undergraduate Program Management Office (781-239-4388).
Eligibility and Application Procedure
Sophomores and Juniors in the Honors Program are eligible to apply for the LSE Honors Program. Seniors in the Honors Program are eligible to apply for the Milan, Italy course which will also be offered to students who want to do honors level work. Students must submit an application by the designated deadline to participate in these programs.
Financial Information
Students pay tuition for these undergraduate courses. Credits may vary by program. See details in each program link. An additional program fee includes hotel accommodations, ground transportation, some meals and cultural excursions. Flight cost and arrangements are generally the responsiblity of the student and are not included in the program fee costs.
