Program description Built by the Emperor Charles V in 1526, the University of Granada is the third largest in Spain. Known for its Spanish-as-a-second-language courses, the University has courses in Spanish language and culture to suit varied levels of expertise. Spanish students from around the country and international students from around the world comprise the 60,000 student population.

GPA requirement 2.7 GPA
You must have at least this GPA at the time of application and the semester prior to exchange. Failure to maintain adequate academic standing will result in your removal from the program.
Language Requirements The program offers Spanish instruction at all levels. You are strongly encouraged to complete the beginning level of Spanish prior to participation. Almost all courses are taught in Spanish, although there are several courses taught in English for the beginner and lower intermediate Spanish speaker.
Language Notes Babson students participate in a four-week intensive language orientation at the beginning of the term for which they earn 5 credits. Beginning language courses are counted as General College Credit. Intermediate and advanced language courses are counted as Advanced Liberal Arts.
Credit Load

15-18 credits total per term.
Beginner level: 6 credits of Spanish/9-12 credits of electives.
Intermediate: 6 credits of Spanish/9-12 credits of electives.
Advanced: 3 credits of Spanish/12-15 credits of electives.
