The HSG, which became a full-fledged business university in 1911, continues to be one of the most prestigious business schools in Europe. The University of St. Gallen partners with several institutions around the globe, including ESCP-EAP (a Babson MBA exchange school), Manchester School of Management in England (another Babson undergraduate exchange school), London School of Economics and several U.S. business schools, including Duke’s Fucqua School of Business, NYU’s Stern School of Business and Columbia University. St. Gallen, with Lake Constance just to the northeast, is located in the eastern part of Switzerland and is very close to the borders of Germany, Austria and Lichtenstein.
