| Program Description | The University was established in 1984 by the coming together of New University of Ulster (founded in 1968) and the Ulster Polytechnic (founded in 1971). The University (the largest in the island of Ireland) has expanded rapidly since its establishment in 1984 when it had just under 10,000 students to current numbers of approximately 25,000 students and 3,500 staff. The university has four campuses: Coleraine, Jordanstown in Newtonabbey, Belfast, and Magee in Londonderry. Each maintains high academic standards in intellectually challenging courses across a wide range of disciplines. The Jordanstown Campus offers courses in business and management. |
