Packing Recommendations
New England has four fairly distinct seasons of which the average temperatures are as follows:
Spring 38-60 F 3-15 C
Summer 60-95 F 15-35 C
Autumn 46-60 F 8-15 C
Winter 0-37 F -17-3 C
Many students dress casually for classes, but you will also need to bring business attire for presentations. You may use all of Babson's sports facilities, so bring your exercise clothing. Also, bring clothing to layer so that you can adjust to the changing temperatures. Students coming especially in the Spring semester will need to bring or buy in Boston "winter wear" - snow boots, a heavy coat, gloves, hat and a scarf. There are many places to ski in New England so bring your ski gear if you plan to take advantage of the mountains!
