Second European Summit (2007)
The 2007 Summit was hosted by ESADE in Barcelona, Spain from September 6-10. Over 60 participants from leading family businesses and universities throughout Europe gathered for 2 full days of interaction and learning. 
The Summit is an annual exclusive gathering of the business families and academics who have participated in the STEP research. It is a unique shared learning event in which participants have the opportunity to:
- Apply research findings on business growth and continuity
- Participate in live case discussions by successful companies q Benchmark practices against other business families
- Receive personalized feedback from academic practitioners
- Create action plans for enhancing entrepreneurship
- Connect to a global community and leading-edge knowledge

Some of the research findings and issues discussed were:

Can a commitment to continuity be transgenerational entrepreneurship?

- The influence of culture on entrepreneurial activities
