Next Program:  Proposed January 2009

In 2004, Babson College, in partnership with the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, was awarded funding by the National Science Foundation to launch a Symposium for Engineering Entrepreneurship Educators (SyE3). This program builds off of our leading expertise in entrepreneurship education and the success of our Symposia for Entrepreneurship Educators.

The primary objective of Babson-Olin SyE3 is to educate engineering educators about how to teach and apply entrepreneurship theory and practice as an integral part of engineering education. Babson-Olin SyE3 Alumni will develop engineering graduates who not only have innovative ideas, but who can successfully transform their innovations into the products, systems, services, and companies that drive economic growth.

According to Anthony Marchese, Associate Professor Mechanical Engineering at Rowan University, “The SyE³ program is a must for any engineering faculty member who is interested in infusing entrepreneurship into the engineering curriculum..." For more testimonials, please click here.

If you have questions on Babson-Olin SyE³, please, contact Helen Coates at hcoates@babson.edu or 781-239-6279.
