Estefano  Isaias ’68, H ’07, P ’00, P ’02, a member of the Babson Board of Trustees is the director of TC Television and the founder and CEO of Grupo Isaias in Guayaquil, Ecuador. His son, Ricardo Isaias ’02 works with him at Grupo Isaias. In April, the company sponsored SEE (Symposia for Entrepreneurship Educators) Ecuador, a collaboration of Babson’s Glavin Center for Global Entrepreneurship, the Institute for Latin American Business, and the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship. The three-day symposium, held in Guayaquil, was attended by more than 120 educators from all over Ecuador. Walter Esquivel, P ’98 director of the Glavin Center and Luksic Director of the Institute for Latin American Business, and Heidi Neck, assistant professor of entrepreneurship and faculty director of the SEE Ecuador program, discussed the entrepreneurial process in focused sessions, such as The Entrepreneurial Perspective on Teaching, Entrepreneurship Curriculum Design, and Entrepreneurship at Your Institution. The goal of the Price-Babson SEE Program is to develop capable entrepreneurship educators who understand the importance of creating intellectual and practical connections between theory and practice in teaching.
