This Symposium focused on the search for leadership in oneself and how to apply those hidden skills in the workplace to improve both business productivity and personal well-being.

Featured Speakers included:

Linda Mason, Founder and Chairman of Bright Horizons Family Solutions, the nation's largest provider of employer-sponsored early childhood education, operating over 480 child development centers in thirty-eight states and serving over 55,000 families.

Ben Cohen, Co-founder and former CEO of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. Currently the President of Business Leaders for Sensible Priorities and TrueMajority.org., a group of 1000 business leaders working to fund social needs at no additional taxpayer expense by transferring money out of outmoded cold war era military expenditures.

Aaron Feuerstein, former President and CEO of Malden Mills Industries, Inc. Leading a company with deep family roots, Aaron Feuerstein has managed Malden Mills' tremendous growth over the past four decades.

7th Symposium on Spirituality and Business at Babson: March 18-19 2004

This Symposium focused on specific tools to help our participants and their colleagues incorporate their values into their work in constructive and non-threatening ways. Each of our featured speakers brought practical experience in the business world to bear on the challenges and joys of bringing our whole selves to work.

Aaron Feuerstein Aaron Feuerstein is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Malden Mills Industries, Inc. Leading a company with deep family roots, Aaron Feuerstein has managed Malden Mills' tremendous growth over the past four decades.

Julius Walls, Jr. Julius Walls, Jr. is President and CEO of Greyston Foundation and CEO of the Greyston Bakery. Greyston Foundation is a values driven network of not-for-profit and for-profit organizations founded to help transform the lives of individuals, families and communities.

Nirmal Manerikar Nirmal Manerikar is Senior Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, with responsibility for the Financial Management functions. Over the last five years, Nirmal has led a variety of change management initiatives--focused on improving the cost-effectiveness of the financial management businesses, while enriching jobs and enhancing service quality.

In the continued tradition of the Symposium, the multi-faith approach of speaking frankly from one’s own religious traditions resulted in a lively and open dialogue centering on the challenges of integrating spirituality into business life.
