Horn Library - Bad Weather Policy
Weekdays and evenings
If classes are canceled due to bad weather during the day, but the college is open, the Horn Library and Computer Center will remain open as long as one professional staff member can be on the premises and adequate student staffing can be provided. Having the facility open with student staffing alone poses liability and safety concerns. Notice of the library and computer center closing will be posted at both building entrances and on the main library and computer center phone line (x4596 and x6340).
Weekends
If a weather emergency occurs on a weekend and professional staff cannot get to campus, the library and computer center will be closed for the reasons stated above.
