Basic Steps

Once connected to Emerald, the tabs at the top of the screen provide several ways to search: Search mode provides a Quick Search form for searching any combination of author, journal name, article title, fulltext and keyword (equivalent to subject headings) and an Advanced Search for more options. Browse mode is used to view lists of Journals by journal name, LC classification or subject grouping, and lists of Articles by author, titles or subject heading keywords.

Viewing, Printing & Saving

Viewing: View PDF Full Text requires Adobe Acrobat to view the original image of the article with graphics and tables. Depending upon how you set your preferences in your browser options, you may either view the article or save it to disk. View HTML Full Text loads a text version of the article. Printing: Print PDF Full Text requires Adobe Reader 4.0 or higher software at your workstation, and Netscape users may need to add it as a Helper Application. All campus labs have the reader installed. Be considerate of others printing, printing image articles can be time consuming. Be sure to use the Acrobat toolbar to print and not save the web browser's toolbar.  Print HTML Full Text use your browser's File > Print to print an article. Note: Sometimes graphics are not clear when printed. You may want to choose the Page Image format for printing. If the full text of the article is not available, Babson students, faculty and staff may request a copy using Horn Library's InterLibrary Loan service form.  You do not need to use the Emerald's Basket function.

Scope

Search, browse and view fulltext of about 117 academic and professional journals primarily from MCB University Press. These journals often provide a European perspective with strength in marketing, operations, services industries, and general management. Full text coverage is from 1994 to the most current issue with abstracts dating back to 1989. Among the journals are: Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal, European Journal of Marketing, Marketing Intelligence and Planning, Journal of Consumer Marketing, Journal of Services Marketing, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior and Research, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management Journal of Organizational Change Management The TQM Magazine
