 Basic Steps
A librarian must log you in to use this database! Please use workstations 1-4 only!
- From the main screen click on Create Custom Reports (top left)
- Highlight the available media you want (the recommendation is All
Media). Click the Select arrow button and then click Next (bottom right). - Select the Frequency and Date range (no more than 5 years at a time)
and click Add and then Next and proceed to the Product Set. - The Product Set page contains brands, products and companies.
- If you are uncertain where to start, type a keyword into the “Search
Across All Product Levels”. You may choose to search where your keyword “begins with” or “contains”. Recommendation is to use “contains” to make sure you find all matching keywords. - Once your criteria have been selected click Next and complete the
Report Format page, by choosing the Sorts. If you wish to see the products broken out by brands choose Sort by Product from the drop down menu in the "Break out your report" box. Choose any measures you would like to see. - Click Next and leave the default settings or complete the Report Options
form as needed. - Click Next for the Report Summary page. Type in a report name and click
Run. - The next screen shows the Report Viewer. If the status isn’t Running click
the Refresh Listing just above the box until the status is Completed.
 Viewing, Printing & Saving
You may choose to view in .pdf or Excel by clicking on the appropriate icon adjacent to your report title.
You may then choose to Print or Save your report using the appropriate commands in either Adobe or Excel. Please transfer any saved reports to a share drive or your own computer before logging off as your work may periodically be deleted. |
