 Citing Articles

Basic Steps
There are four ways to search: - Author (default) - searches for author by name
- Subject - searches for authors by subject
- Title - searches for authors by titles of writings
- Advanced - allows you to use index fields (examples below in Advanced Search Tips)

Segment or Field Searching Databases use different codes to allow you to search by specific field. This can help to narrow your search to a specific publication, author, or date. |

Viewing, Printing & Saving OptionsMark the items you wish to see and then click on Marked List in the left hand column. You can then chose to email or send to printer (be sure to select Full Article if available).
You can print or download at anytime. Scroll to the bottom when viewing an article, and you will see viewing, printing and e-mail options.
To print, go the bottom of the article and select either Browser Print or Acrobat Reader.
To save to disk, click File . . . Save Frame As or copy & paste the text into Word. If Acrobat is available, open and save as a PDF file. Make sure you save to A:\ for floppy disk or C:\ for your own hard drive, change the extension to .txt, and change the file type to "Plain Text". |
