There are two ways to search the database:  TEXT SEARCH OR MENU SEARCH

TEXT SEARCH - Enter your search terms in the "SEARCH BOX."  Use the Boolean operators AND. OR, or AND NOT to combine your terms together.

MENU SEARCH - There are two menus, and you must select at least one term from both categories.

These menus are:

• Select Geography
• Select Category

Choose at least one term from each (such as "France" and "GDP").  Click on the + to expand the menu.  To select a term, just click on it to highlight it in blue.  Then click on the red "Run Search" button to run your search. 

• Show Results - The quickest way is to click on text heading for the report.
• Custom Results - Use the check box to make multiple selections, then choose how you wish to view the information.

Select from additional features, such as

• Build Report to select data from all menus to build a customized report.  Check the data boxes that are of interest and then click "Build Report" to generate the report.
• Recent Reports to view all of the reports that were added to GMID in the past 3 months.
• Report Archive to view reports older than 3 months.

Output your results in Word, Excel, or PDF formats.  Group data by country or product.  If your results are from the statistics section, you can load your data directly into Excel.   You may save your searches to use again in the future.
