Literature Review: Finding Research Articles

The literature review should summarize what is already known about your topic. It must be based on current research.  Research articles are best for current information but books can be useful as well, check the Library Catalog and WorldCat to search other libraries use interlibrary loan if Babson does not own the book.

LexisNexis Academic - Medical Section
Search all three sections, but be aware that Medical Journals and Abstracts (Medline) will be best.

InfoTrac Web - Health Reference Center Academic
Contains full text of Journal of the American Dietetic Association and other research journals.

ProQuest
Choose Scholarly Articles tab after doing a keyword search to limit to relevant titles.

Access Science
Encyclopedia of science topics for general overviews. Useful for background information.
