Media Kits. Go to the magazine or newspapers web site and type in the "name of the publication" and the phrase "media kit" and click on Rates. Most publications provide this feature.
MRI Plus is used to evaluate magazines and includes audience data, industry studies, rates, circulation data, advertising effectiveness, etc. Try typing in the title of a major periodical to obtain some circulation and audience data. Data are not complete but it offers some good data for free after you sign up.
