Great source for data and reports on the world economies that make up the OECD, with some information available on countries outside of the OECD. For summary data, click on the "At A Glance" link on the top tool bar. This section provides data and reports on many topics, such as the economy, education, health, energy, telecommunications, and other areas. Easy to use for downloading data or graphs. For more in-depth online databases, click on the "Statistics" tab on the top tool bar. See also the reports and online books. There are many data tables contained in the appendices to the reports. Also, there are quick "Stat links" to open up tables within the reports. Highly recommended
International Financial Statistics (IFS Online)
The IFS database contains approximately 32,000 time series, covering more than 200 countries and areas. Annual series start in 1948, and quarterly and monthly series begn in 1957. Data categories include: balance of payments, banking and financial systems, labor, exchange rates, fund position, government finance, interest rates, international liquidity, national accounts, population, and trade.
