Canditto Wins Babson College Innovation Competition

undefined

Canditto has won the first place $30,000 prize in the Babson Innovation Competition that took place on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008.

The competition was part of the day-long Babson Forum on Entrepreneurship and Innovation, organized by MBA students at the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.

Canditto is a patent-pending kiosk that collects event photos and produces a CD collection by the end of the event.

According to its website: "It produces a CD collection of all the guests pictures by the end of the night. It's built to be simple.  No buttons to push.   Instant-fast file transfer.  Stationed near the exit of your reception, it's where your guests will want to leave you a little "partying gift."  And the kiosk's patent-pending software makes sure that your guests' previously-taken photos are not accessed in any way. What do you need to do?  Nothing.  Canditto staff delivers, sets up and monitors the kiosk.  Go have your fun.  We'll have your CD ready for you before the night is over."

Canditto was established by Richard “Rush” Hambleton, F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
