Babson and Irving Oil Team Up for Fourth Consecutive Year

The 2006 Babson Invitational Tournament presented by Irving Oil will feature college hockey, men’s and women’s basketball competitions, and youth clinics on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, November 17 – 19, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, November 24 – 26. In addition to Babson, schools participating include Bates, Colby, SUNY Geneseo, UMASS-Dartmouth, University of Southern Maine, Vassar, and Washington University.

 

Youth clinics in both basketball and hockey are planned for ages 7-12. Advance registration is encouraged, as space is limited. Youth clinics and basketball games are free and open to the public. Admission to hockey games is $5 adults, $3 students, and FREE for youth under 12 years who wear their hockey team’s jersey. Babson students, faculty, and staff are admitted free with Babson ID.

 

Irving will be presenting door prizes and contest give-a-ways to attendees of these events. In addition, attendees of all ages will have a chance to win prizes.
