Teams of MBA students from nine schools around the nation competed during the Dale P. Jones Business Ethics Forum at Baylor University,Waco, Texas in early November. Over a three-day period, the teams studied an ethical business dilemma and were given the opportunity to present their solutions before a panel of judges.
Babson was represented by four MBA candidates. The team consisted of three second-year MBAs, Pawan Aganwal, Balaji Balachandran, and Sam Ejah; and One-Year MBA student, Shewta Jain. Professor John H. Stamm was the faculty coach and accompanied the team to the competition. Professor Gaurab Bhardwaj offered guidance on Issue-Based Problem Solving.
Babson MBA student Sam Ejah was named as one of the three best in the Q&A segment.
Pepperdine University earned first place honors; University of Florida came in second with Baylor in third. Participating B-Schools included: Babson College, Baylor University, Clemson University, Pepperdine University, Texas A&M, University of Arizona, University of Florida, University of Notre Dame, and University of Washington.
