Babson College freshmen earned more than $30,000 for charitable organizations this year while learning how to plan, launch, and manage a business.
All Babson freshmen, as part of the school’s required full-year course Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME), are required to form teams, develop business plans, and then launch businesses. Each business receives up to $3000 in seed money from Babson. Students donate their profits to charity, and also perform volunteer work with the charities.
