Winner Competes in Wal-Mart Sustainability Business Plan Competition for $20,000
Three MBA students at Babson’s F.W. Olin Graduate School will vie to represent Babson at the 1st annual Wal-Mart Sustainability Business Plan Competition at the University of Arkansas in April for a $20,000 first prize.

will pitch their business ideas to a panel of industry expertsat The Green Collar Venture Competition Thursday, February 28, 2008, 6:00-8:00 p.m., in Babson’s Olin Hall, Room 120. Among the judges is Greg Trimble, Sr. Director, Global Energy Development, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.
Ideas for businesssustainability are focused in the areas of:
The Babson winner will present his/her sustainable business to Wal-Mart executives including CEO, Lee Scott, competing against finalists from the University of Arkansas; Arizona State University; Dartmouth College; Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; Imperial College, London; Stanford University; Stillman College; and the University California, Berkeley.
The Green Collar Venture Competition is supported by the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship, Net Impact, and Babson Energy and Environmental Club.
